PeerTV's PeerStation-340 Internet TV set-top-box is an advanced Ip set top box targeting demanding projects requiring a powerful engine to drive the latest in 'Over the Top' (Internet - based TV) media.

PS 340 supports a range of advanced streaming protocols based on WMV as well as H.264, allowing close replication of the broadcast experience over the Internet at the highest quality possible. HD playback capability and openness to new streaming methods (including real-time /download P2P) keep options open for operators to upgrade their services as network bandwidth increases.

The device's SDK (software development kit) is based on a highly efficient embedded browser, extended to support advanced video & GUI mixing techniques. The extensive JavaScript API provides full control over video playback as well as easy access to a range of system services.
